Savannah

This little girl is so relieved to have her top teeth out:

The tooth fairy's been falling short on her job lately and didn't show up last night. Savannah said "that's ok, maybe she doesn't work on Sundays". She's leaving the tooth under her pillow and hopefully the tooth fairy will come by and get it tonight!

*Note to self: must. stay. awake.

The cousins came over yesterday! It is their spring break this week, so they came to play and we had an egg hunt. They had a blast:

Monday

We've had a nice March so far and are looking forward to spring. We've been busy with lessons, playing outside, doing little projects, getting over colds... I'm so thankful for every day, so I'm not trying to rush spring this year! Sometimes I do. But I realize I don't need to rush life. It will go by too quickly on it's own.

Savannah and Isaac are growing and have such funny personalities. Both of them are creative in different ways. Savannah likes to paint and draw. Isaac likes to make up the most fantastical stories that keep me laughing. Both of them are hilarious in their own way, but old enough to get embarrassed about being laughed at - so I have to be careful. ;)

I hope everyone is having a good March!

The Twins Are Six!

Just a couple of iphone pictures from today after we decorated cakes:

 This cake combines two of Savannah's favorite things: mermaids and lalaloopsy. Or as Savannah says, "loopsylally".

This cake combines more than a couple of Isaac's favorites: football, Alabama, Hulk and Thor. Believe me, it could have included a lot more!

Well, our sweet chilluns' are six years old!

Lately

We went on a nice hike yesterday, to our neighbor's cabin in the woods. The twins loved this porch swing:

Also, we recently visited my Grandparent's place and cleaned some stuff out of the old barn:

Here they're standing by my favorite climbing tree, a large magnolia behind my Grandparent's house. I grew up close to them and climbed this tree countless times!
